This course will teach you how to install, configure and administer the components of a VMware vSphere 5.5 virtual infrastructure. It will show you how to manage the virtual network, storage, and resources, and to deploy virtual machines and make the new infrastructure secure and backed-up.

This training is for system administrators and architects who want to get a quick start with the VMware vSphere 5.5 software suite (ESXi Server 5.5 and vCenter 5.5).

Basic knowledge of administering a Linux/Unix or Windows system.

Generally, courses take place from 9:00 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 17:30.
However, on the first day attendees are welcomed from 8:45, and there is a presentation of the session between 9:15 and 9:30.
The course itself begins at 9:30. For the 4- or 5-day hands-on courses, the sessions finish at 15:30 on the last day
